On Our End
In addition to our GoFundMe account, Tom and I are working to earn money. Currently Tom is completeing a couple car projects.
Tom has a talent for rebuilding wrecked cars and is currently working on two. The car projects are in Washington and we live in Idaho, so its only on select weekends and breaks from school, that he can work on them. It'll be atleast two months before we get that money. Luckily we should be able to raise a few thousand dollars on the two cars.
We appriciate all that has been donated to our cause, and are working hard to earn money of our end as well.
Day 4
Today we are excited to see that we are only dollars away from $1,000! With contributions from GoFundMe and personal checks we have recieved, we have raised $965.
Once we reach $1,600 we can pay for the first procedure!
Please contribute what you can, maybe we can do the first procedure before Christmas!

Day 3
I was blown away today when I saw that a friend from high school had made a big donation on GoFundMe. It brought tears to my eyes, to think that someone I haven't seen or talked to in years would be so generous. Whether large or small, we appriciate all those who have taken the time to donate for our cause. With each passing day our hope and chances of having a family grows. Thank you everyone!

Tom was a college student, and I had just graduated. We planned to wait a year before starting a family. Neither of us could have guessed what lay ahead.
Tom grew up in a large family, and was the second youngest out of seven kids. He was an uncle at the age of 14 and grew up surrounded by nieces and nephews. It was natural for Tom to picture having a large family of his own one day.

I grew up in a smaller family, four children and my wonderful parents. When I was 9, I began babysitting and never needed another job till I graduated high school. I always wanted to be a mother.

Our first year of marriage past, I was teaching at a local elementary school and Tom was still working on college. We were so excited to start a family!

After ten months of trying we began to worry! Tom's older brother had struggled with infertility, but because Tom's other three brothers hadn't, he assumed he didn't have the same condition.
Tom got tested... he had the condition.
Tom was diagnosed with congenital bilateral absence of the vas deferens, associated with cystic fibrosis. This means that due to a missing tube, he is unable to release the sperm he produces.
Now we knew, that like his brother, our only option was Invitro.
If you didn't know already, most insurances do not cover the cost of fertility treatments, and we were going to have to do one of the most expensive types. Invitro, with everything included can cost between 15 and 25 thousand dollars. And that is just for one go. To make things worse, our only income is my small teacher salary which is already gone at the end of each month providing for her husband's full time college career.
So we have two options, save save save on our own till we have enough (5 plus years) or try to move mountains.
We decided to try to push forward and move that money mountain in front of us, out of the way.
Now, that’s where you come in. We need your help!
Unlike other hospital visits, this must be paid in full before it can take place.
